Celebrating International Women’s Month Together

We had the privilege of celebrating International Women’s Month alongside exceptional women and a room full of diverse perspectives.

From diplomacy to policy to technology and design, our speakers’ paths may look different, but each of them showed us what it means to keep trying, keep pushing, adapting, and working to leave the world a little better for others to come.

We were honored to hear from Catarina Carvalho of UN Women, Inês Ayer of Google DeepMind, and Joana Almeida e Sousa of Amazon. Each spoke candidly about her path, the challenges behind the milestones, and the responsibility of opening doors for those who follow.

What made the evening especially meaningful was seeing the conversations carry on long after the program ended. Ideas were flowing, perspectives shared, and new connections forming across the room. Moments like these strengthen our community and perhaps even plant the seeds of a “girls’ club.”
