Bridging Portugal and the U.S.: What’s Next
To our members, partners and friends,
Since 1979, the Portugal-US Chamber of Commerce has been pivotal in connecting the two countries, pushing forward economic growth and cultural exchange.
Today, in an ever expanding transatlantic relationship, we renew our ambition for the Chamber. Driven by purpose and focused on connecting businesses, culture, innovation and community, the Portugal-US Chamber of Commerce is pleased to share a few important updates:
Firstly, we’ve adopted a new CRM platform to improve how we manage member relationships. This includes an online member center that will allow us to engage more effectively and tailor opportunities to each member’s interests and goals.
To better reflect this change, we also designed a new website to improve navigation and messaging.
And finally, we welcomed Teresa Ferraz Miranda as the Chamber’s new Executive Director. Teresa brings nearly a decade of experience shaping strategic communications, political analysis and public affairs across public and private sectors. With a background ranging from private intelligence and security to crisis communications and speechwriting, she has a sharp understanding of impactful advocacy and mission-driven work.
In the name of the Chamber, I would also like to express our gratitude to Joana Amorim, who recently concluded her tenure as Executive Director and whose care and dedication leave a lasting mark on our organization.
We’re entering this new chapter with strategy and determination, rooted in the trust our members place in the work we do. Our goal is to engage more and more effectively. To listen to the concerns and ambitions of our members, partners and friends. To serve as a platform for information and connection. To build community.
We look forward to what lies ahead and invite you to stay tuned as we grow, both on our digital platforms and in person.
Best regards,
Rodrigo Carvalho
President of the Board
