AICEP is organizing a webinar on electronic commerce in the United States with e-commerce specialist Sam Natapoff.

In this webinar, Sam Natapoff, president of Empire Global Ventures, will present a global view of the e-commerce market in the USA, highlighting future e-commerce trends in the post-COVID period, ways of entry, main e-commerce platforms and marketplaces, existing regulations to take into consideration and practical advice, among other useful information for companies.

Online sales in the USA were projected to grow from USD 1.3 billion in 2014 to USD 4.5 billion in 2021, and the penetration rate from 15% in 2020 to 25% in 2025. However, due to the social and economic crisis created by the spread of coronavirus, this trend has accelerated, causing a strong need for companies to adapt in real time to changes in consumer habits.

This webinar also includes the participation of the AICEP delegate in New York, João Mota Pinto, who will update companies on the current context of the American market, and Eduardo Henriques, Head of Digital Communication at AICEP. This is another initiative of the Programa Exportar Online, developed by AICEP, in order to accompany and encourage companies in their online internationalization strategies.
